Colouring my hair

On a serious note, since the start of 2011 that's the year I finally knew how to correctly take care of my hair believe it or not.  My hair does not like colour, after all these years I've been colouring it oblivious to the fact that my hair was telling me not to colour it.  I thought colouring my hair was kool and it wouldn't break, had I known what I knew now my hair would have been soooooooo much longer now.  So I did what I thought was best and I cut most of it off, to let it start again.  So right now my hair has movement when washed and when it is styled.  So all I have to say is this COLOURING MY NATURAL HAIR IS A NO NO!

Pictures of my Natural Hair thus far (Random)

Here you will see random pics of my hair and myself.

Natural HIGH

I am writing about my natural hair journey.  I have been natural for six years or so, love my natural hair texture, I basically love everything about my natural hair.  Sitting here thinking that I need to wear my natural FRO more often.  It is just the way people stare at you with an AFRO, it's really annoying.

I had someone once said to me that I should perm/relax my hair back (It was permed for a few years until I got fed up of it, or should I say I had a bad reaction from burning on the scalp)because having natural hair makes me look young (eyes rolling).  Some people have also said to me that my natural hair won't grow, or my hair stop growing (ummm I said your hair will stop grow if you're....u know).  A lady came into the restroom at work, I had my hair box braided by my own hair and she said how am I gonna take out my plaits and I said I will use conditioner on it (that kept her quiet).  Ok the point is Leave people's natural hair alone whether they choose to wear their own hair the way they want is REALLY UP TO INDIVIDUAL.
